The Delhi Kurti
The Delhi Kurti is a celebration of beautiful chaos. Crafted on a deep black base, this piece becomes a canvas for a world in motion — layered with elephants, trees, birds, and vibrant bursts of colour, all coming together in a clustered tapestry of imagery. At first glance, it feels like there’s so much happening — and yet, somehow, it all works in perfect harmony.
Each motif has been placed with intention, allowing the colours to stand out against the black while never overwhelming the eye. What could feel crowded instead feels alive — dynamic, expressive, and unmistakably striking.
The halter neckline is adorned with carefully hand-stitched silver ghungroos, arranged to sit like a statement necklace framing the collarbones. The effect is bold yet elegant, adding movement, sound, and a distinctly Indian sensibility to the silhouette.
At the ghera, a handmade silver moti and ghungroo lace finishes the kurti, forming delicate triangular latkans that fall gracefully with every step. These details bring rhythm and softness to the structure, balancing the richness of the print above.
