Welcome to Chapters. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Overview  
By using this website, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Any breach of these Terms may result in termination of your access to our services.

2. Products & Availability  
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or limit quantities of any product at our sole discretion without prior notice.

Due to the nature of textiles, prints, and handcrafted processes, slight variations in color, texture, or finish may occur. These are inherent characteristics and shall not be considered defects.

3. Pricing & Payments  
All prices are listed in INR (Indian Rupees). We reserve the right to revise pricing at any time without prior notice.

Orders are confirmed only upon successful payment. Chapters reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its discretion, including but not limited to cases involving suspected fraud, unauthorized transactions, or pricing errors.

4. Shipping  
All orders are processed and delivered in accordance with our Shipping Policy. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to external factors beyond our control.

5. Exchanges, Returns & Refunds  

No Returns or Refunds  
All purchases made on Chapters are final. We do not offer returns or refunds under any circumstances.

Exchange Eligibility (Strict Conditions Apply)  

a) Time Frame  
- All exchange requests must be raised within 48 hours (2 days) of delivery.  
- Requests made after this period will not be accepted under any circumstances.

b) Size Exchange  
- Exchanges are permitted only in case of size issues.  
- A mandatory unboxing and try-on video must be provided.  
- The video must:
  - Begin from the sealed package  
  - Clearly show the product being unboxed  
  - Include a visible try-on demonstrating the sizing issue  
- Requests without valid and continuous video proof will be automatically rejected.

c) Damaged Product  
- A complete, uninterrupted unboxing video is mandatory.  
- The video must clearly show:
  - The sealed outer packaging with tapes intact  
  - The full unboxing process  
  - Clear evidence of the damage  
- If the claim is verified and approved, the product will be exchanged for the same item in undamaged condition.

Exchange Conditions  
- Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and returned in original condition with all tags and packaging intact.  
- Chapters reserves the sole and final right to determine exchange eligibility after reviewing submitted proof.  
- Exchanges are subject to product availability. In case of unavailability, a suitable alternative or store credit may be offered at our discretion.

6. Made-to-Order & Customizations  

Chapters may offer made-to-order or customized pieces now or in the future.

- All made-to-order and customized products are final sale.  
- They are not eligible for exchange, return, or refund under any circumstances.  
- Customization services may be offered starting at an additional charge of ₹3000 INR and above, depending on the nature of the request.  
- Once an order is placed, customized or made-to-order items cannot be modified, cancelled, or refunded.

7. Intellectual Property  
All content on this website, including but not limited to designs, prints, graphics, text, images, logos, and branding, is the exclusive property of Chapters and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Any unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

8. User Conduct  
You agree not to use this website for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose. Any misuse of the platform, including interference with its functionality or security, may result in termination of access and legal action if necessary.

9. Limitation of Liability  
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chapters shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or products.

We are not responsible for delays, losses, or damages caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to logistics disruptions, natural events, or third-party service failures.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chapters from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of our services.
