When I started Chapters, I had one dream—to take the stories woven into India’s crafts beyond borders and into every corner of the world. Through modern silhouettes and thoughtful design, we transform heritage into wearable art.
Yet our purpose extends beyond preserving craft; it is to shine a light on the artisans whose extraordinary talent, resilience, and stories are too often forgotten. Every piece is a tribute to their hands, their history, and their legacy—keeping both the craft and its creators alive, breathing, and thriving.
Our Inspiration
The motifs we use are drawn directly from the ghats of ancient cities, from the jharokhas that filter sunlight in grand palaces, and from the folklore sung by weavers over generations.
